CHARLESTON - Bing Crosby, the legendary voice behind the highest-selling Christmas song of all time (White Christmas) and Charleston’s own Gracie & Lacy have more in common than a love for great jazz and Big Band standards, they share a common heritage. The sisters and Crosby both descended from early American settler and famed Mayflower passenger, William Brewster. While it remains a mystery where the familial musical thread began, it provides perfect inspiration for Gracie & Lacy’s “A Bing Crosby Christmas,” a holiday concert to be presented in-person and online by Forte Jazz Lounge on Dec. 5th at 7pm and 9pm. The show will feature classic tunes and stories that will have you dreaming of a white Christmas. The sisters will harmonize and break out the tap shoes to the rhythm of the fabulous Forte Jazz Trio. Forte’s owner Joe Clarke, who collaborated with Gracie & Lacy in New York City, will join in the holiday spirit on keys and vocals.
