SISTER ACT SUNDAY! Join us for our second event of our new Sunday Night Speakeasy series as renowned Lowcountry sister act Gracie and Lacy , accompanied on piano by Frank Duvall, share an cozy jazz-soaked night of familiar standards and classic pop hits in our beautiful and historic Queen Street Playhouse lobby.
With rave reviews in New York City, and hailed as "one of the most celebrated teams" in the Lowcountry (Lowcountry Today), sisters Gracie & Lacy engage audiences with a fresh take on jazz standards and classic pop. Known for their signature harmonies and tap dancing flair, the sisters have been performing together for over 25 years. The award-winning duo have appeared on stage and screen, including NYC's legendary 54/Below, NASA's Apollo Saturn V, Charleston Gaillard Center, TEDx Charleston, Mar A Lago, HBO, NBC, FOX and ABC.
Frank Duvall has performed with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Greco, Bill Eckstine, Marian McPartland (“I had the pleasure of performing multiple duo concerts with Marian … she was a joy to work with, and also had a great sense of humor”), Bob Alberti, Buddy DeFranco, Harry Allen, Scott Hamilton, John Colinai and Bill Charlap.
