Inside The Cloister At Sea Island

East coast entertainers, Gracie & Lacy, entertained at the elegant, private resort, The Cloister at Sea Island. In the spirit of American patriotism, The Coastal Symphony of GA and the GA Symphony Society hosted their 2017 Cabaret, "Let Freedom Ring." The luxuriously decorated resort provided both an austere and dignified setting for the events of the evening.

Guests dressed in their finest red white and blue formal attire, mingled through a silent auction array of original art, fine wines, vacation packages, and collectibles. Occasionally stopping to snap a photo with a military hero or even Captain America himself, patrons of the symphony turned out in an impressive number to show support for one of Georgia's finest musical organizations.

Following dinner, the Charleston-based sister act Gracie & Lacy took the stage, transporting the audience back to the WW2 era with their vintage-USO-style show. Opening with their most-requested-number, "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" in the style of the Andrews Sisters, Gracie & Lacy sang and danced in front of the giant American flag backdrop in their glittering, self-designed military garb.

By the end of the show, I guess you could say guests were "In The Mood" to hit the dance floor. And as is tradition, Gracie & Lacy donned 1940s party dresses and joined in the fun. The guests danced the night away, completing yet another successful fundraising gala for the GA Symphony.
